HE Bisi Akande 85th Birthday; Senator Omisore Felicitates his boss

The former Osun State Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore PhD FNSE FAEng FNISafetyE CEng CON has congratulated his Principal, His Excellency Abdulraheem Bisi Akande CFR, who was the Osun State Governor from 1999 to 2003 when he was the Deputy, on the occasion of his 85th birthday today January 16th, 2024.

According to the release obtained from his Media Office, the former Osun East Senator described the Asiwaju of Ila Orangun as an ageless icon with vast repository of wisdom who have traversed all the Republics Nigeria, as a Nation, have passed through in the cause of her Nationhood not only as a mere citizen but as an active roles player even in the football sense, a mercurial midfielder.

Apesin Oodua stated: “Pa Bisi Akande was a trusted disciple of the Late Sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo since Pre-Nigeria independence, in the First Republic, was the Oyo State Secretary to the State Government and Deputy Governor in the Second Republic, a prominent progressive figure in the aborted Third Republic, and the first Osun State Governor when I was his Deputy in this Fourth Republic. He was the pioneer National Chairman of our Party, APC, recounted to be the largest Party in the black Nations globally while till date his aeonian contribution to National discourses and the building of the Nation towards an enduring development is enormous”

The Basorun of Ijesaland stated further that what else can one describe the presence of the person who has being part of Nigeria Nationhood before independence till now other than Titanic.
